Term Papers of the USP/Esalq specialization courses must present an applied character. Bibliographic or documental research, that is, the research ‘means’ based exclusively on non-experimental data, will only be accepted if elaborated along with metadata analysis methods or data groups. All the Term Papers must be structured in such a way so that the students use the tools and the knowledge they acquired throughout the course. When applicable, exceptional situations will be evaluated by the program coordination.
It is recommended for the topic to be chosen according to the level of identification with the field of knowledge and/or professional demand of the student. Furthermore, it is fundamental for both student and advisor to take into consideration whether they will have unrestricted access to the necessary data, bibliographic sources, and especially if the research methodology is within the knowledge and domain scope of the topic before starting the Term Paper writing process.
