The advisor has the function of supervising the Term Paper development and advising on the standards compliance. The advising process must be conducted via the Term Paper System and/or by email or other means of communication, when agreed between the student and advisor. The advisor activities include, but according to the needs, the project characteristics or demands, must not be limited to:
- assist with the development of the chosen topic;
- advise on the elaboration of the project’s purpose;
- recommend research development methods so that the desired results are achieved;
- advise on the Term Paper general planning, through determining the stages and the schedule to be accomplished by the student;
- monitor the stages development expected in the Term Paper general planning, paying attention to the recommended content in each of the stages and deadlines established by the course coordination.
